We are looking for an Android Engineer who will play a key role in building modern, high-performance mobile applications for a global audience.
The position is aligned with the execution of the mobile technical roadmap, with a strong focus on scalability, performance and clean architecture.
Our partner’s mobile ecosystem includes Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM/MVI, Clean Architecture, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines and modern Android development tools.
Beyond hands-on development, the role involves contributing to technical decisions, improving engineering practices and ensuring high-quality feature delivery across the mobile ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance native Android applications aligned with the technical roadmap.
- Ensure code modularity, scalability, and maintainability, following best engineering practices.
- Remain hands-on, contributing production-level code while supporting the team in delivering high-quality features.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, and Design teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Continuously monitor and improve application performance, stability, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and challenge existing solutions when needed.
- Support the adoption of modern development practices and tools across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in native Android development using Kotlin (4+ years).
- Solid experience with modern UI frameworks such as Jetpack Compose.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow).
- Experience integrating REST APIs and working with backend systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience developing applications within the fintech, banking, gaming, or other high-traffic consumer-facing industries.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger.
- Experience with mobile application security best practices and secure API integrations.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring, analytics, and crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase, Crashlytics).
- Previous experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership and architectural decision-making initiatives.
