Job description

The Opportunity We are hiring a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer for our Integrations team in Brazil! CODE is an acronym for Consumer Digital Experience, which means we're in charge of the experience and services that will guide people's well-being journey.

Our main goal in CODE is to make well-being universal.

From knowing about Wellhub and getting access to exclusive benefits to using our vast partner network, it is all about the end-user experience.

The Integrations team builds the bridges that allow Wellhub users to enjoy our partners' services simply and efficiently.

Our focus is on developing and maintaining the connections between systems, working behind the scenes so that the user experience is completely seamless.

We collaborate closely with the Product, UX, and Data teams to create an excellent end-to-end experience for our platform's users.

Your Impact Join our team as a Mid-Level Software Engineer and shape our product's future.

You'll build and deploy high-quality solutions, driving impactful improvements in a fast-paced agile setting.

Participate in technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and ensure code excellence through thorough reviews.

Elevate your technical expertise and communication skills while contributing to our company's success.

Design, build, and deploy high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Take part in architectural decisions, write reusable code, and provide insightful pull-request reviews to ensure the long-term health of our platform.

Take full ownership of critical features, from conception to production.

Use data to make informed decisions and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure our work has a meaningful business impact.

Work with product teams and stakeholders to understand business needs.

Take part in incident resolution and troubleshooting in the production environment.

Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical discussions to elevate the team's skills.

Who You Are A true team player with 5 years of experience in web development A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience Experience designing and developing modern web applications with microservices and high-volume distributed systems Worked with third-party integrations, dealing with webhooks, exponential backoff and so on Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java / Kotlin).

Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis) Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS) Experience with Cloud-based architectures in AWS is a mandatory requirement Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English and Portuguese We recognize that individuals approach job applications differently.
