Your Role And Responsibilities As a Brand Technical Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.
Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include Client Strategy Development: Create strategic plans for clients, focusing on infrastructure, applications, and automation solutions.
IBM Automation Solution Design: Define practical IBM Automation solutions that enhance existing technology stacks.
Proof of Concept Delivery: Provide proof of concepts and simplifying technical concepts to ensure client comprehension.
Building Credibility and Trust: Establish credibility and trust with clients, which is essential for closing complex technology deals Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Technical Experience Hands‑on experience in application development using languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or GoSolid; understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Hands‑on experience in APIs, Microservices, Software Architecture; Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration using Kubernetes; Familiarity with cloud development platforms (preferably IBM Cloud or Red Hat OpenShift); Familiarity with AppServer (preferable Websphere App Server or Liberty, DevOps solution (preferable IBM solution), and Runtimes (preferable IBM); Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Tekton; Knowledge of observability and APM tools (preferable IBM Instana); Experience integrating AI into applications (preferable Watsonx.ai, Watson Assistant); Understanding of application and API security.
Pre‑Sales Skills Ability to deliver technical presentations, PoCs, PoTs as well as product demos.
Experience preparing technical proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs. Skill in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication; Consultative mindset with strong problem‑solving skills; Proactive, curious, and fast learner; Strategy Thinking; Cross‑functional leadership; Industry expertise (Public Sector, Banking, Insurance); Ability to prospect opportunities; Client‑centric style; Ability to support business partners and enable them on solutions; Ability to create technical wow moments through storytelling and impactful demos/presentations; Collaborative spirit and focus on co‑creation with clients.
Genuine interest in innovation and emerging technologies.
Languages Fluent in Portuguese.
Intermediate to advanced English (able to read documentation and participate in global calls).
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Public Cloud Certification, FinOps Concepts, DevOps Concepts, Agile Methodologies, Monitoring and Observability Tools IBM certifications (e.g., IBM Cloud, API Connect, Watsonx); Red Hat certifications (e.g., OpenShift Application Developer); Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP); AWS, Azure, CI/CD Tools, Dynatrace, Datadog, ELK, Zabbix, Basic Networking Skills; Technical knowledge in the following products/practices: Cloud Pak for Application, Websphere App Server / Liberty, DevOps, Runtimes (preferable).
